"Honey Pie" is Sam Christensen on vocals and guitar, Molly Countermine on vocals, keys, percussion, and guitar, and Rene Witzke on bass...and occasional percussion.

Their music is a mix of rock, pop, Americana, and roots music, with a few originals thrown in, all steeped in tons of harmonies and lots of enthusiastic energy!"

Sam Christensen

Sam Christensen is a solo, masterful acoustic and electric guitarist (think David Gilmour crossed with Jimi Hendrix) with a tenor lead vocal influenced by Crosby, Stills and Nash and Fleet Foxes. You may have seen him play locally in Lord Forrest, Carpetland Flux Collective and Midstate Select.

Molly Countermine

Molly Countermine joined forces with Ted McCloskey in 2000, forming "Ted & Molly," one of the area's favorite bands. Molly was also a founding member of "Pure Cane Sugar" in 2007, and Molly continues to perform weekly with Ted, her husband Rene, and drummer Daryl Branford with Ted and the Hi-Fi’s.
