The Jeff Gibble Group is an eclectic blend of rock, pop, jazz, blues and folk music. In addition to their own compositions, the band plays songs from Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Cavetown and Leadbelly. Since relocating to State College, Jeff has formed a new version of his band that includes Zeb Crews and Alex Mijangos.
Jeff Gibble (electric and acoustic guitars, vocals) has performed throughout the east coast with the progressive rock band Alaska, the Edgar Myers Trio, and the Harry Traynham Band. Jeff has opened concerts for The Badlees and The Guess Who. He also has been featured on recordings from the progressive rock group AudioJoe; trumpeter Mic Smith; and singer-songwriter John McNabb. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, Jeff also performs in the State College region with the jazz rock band Riff and in the Harrisburg area with drummer Dave Baboian. He also teaches at Robert M. Sides Family Music Center and CLC Charter School, and is an instructor at State College Rock Camp.
